On April 5th, 2025, at 11AM at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus in Joliet, Jonathan Hernandez, Andrew Bogusz, and Samuel Bergmann were ordained to the transitional diaconate.
The Joliet Chapter is very proud of our three new Deacons.
Deacon Jonathan Hernandez is a 3rd Degree Knight and enjoyed our 4th Degree Honor Guard.
A few Knights from Bishop Blanchette Assembly had a chance to take a photo with Deacon Jonathan; who was at Our Lady Of Mercy Parish, along with Deacon Andrew Bogusz.
Seminarian Intern’s Josh White and Joseph (Phu) Nguyen; who are presently at Our Lady Of Mercy (OLM) were also at our OLM Seminarian Pancake Breakfast on 4/6/25. I showed them the photo above and told them we want a similar photo with them when they become Deacons too (And of course Priests too).
Marshal Ed Szefc and Commander Kevin Fischer had 20 Sir Knights in Uniform for the Honor Guard.
The Joliet Diocese South Assemblies; Joliet Assembly #204, Bishop Romeo Blanchette Assembly #3044 and Bishop Roger Kaffer Assembly # 3232 where all well represented.
