Today a very special Marine had a Funeral Mass and had special honors befitting a decorated Veteran.
Charles (Chuck) Bolwin served as our GOP Precinct Captain and recruited me to become a GOP Election Judge many years ago.
Chuck served in Vietnam and earned two Purple Heart metals.
The VFW Honor Guard was very impressive.
It was very evident that Chuck was a Marine.
Chuck’s presence at the Still Middle School polling place was always eventful. Members of the Naperville Township Republican Organization attended his wake, funeral and ceremony at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
The ceremony at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery was very impressive.
Chuck’s boots will be hard to fill; but we must carry on, as Chuck would say, 10-4!!
