The 2026 March for Life; started on 3/19/26 with a “Mass for Life”
at the Nelson Center Hockey Rink.
There were a lot of Pro-Life students, Knights, and Parishioners present.
St. Peter and Paul; in Naperville, was represented at the Mass by Father Jared Rutnicki.
We then proceeded to the March for Life; for the second year in a row, I was on a bus with Knights from “God’s Divine Mercy” who are part of our Joliet Chapter and Parishoners from St. Patrick’s in Yorkville.
We had pre-rally before the March for Life in front of our State Capital.
Many of our Pro-Life Politicians were also present.
Knights and their Pro-Life Banners from our Illinois State Council Knights of Columbus were very visible this year.
Many Joliet Chapter Knights of Columbus were also at the March for Life.
Students from both UIUC and Illinois State were very energetic.
Our Pro-Life speakers were excellent!!
Mary Kate Zander; the President of Illinois Right for Life, is always outstanding.
Our March for Life again went around the Capital Building; may “God’s Divine Mercy”, connect with our State Government.
For the second year in a row; both Savannah Tucker and I, were in front of the March guiding our Pro-Life Marchers.
It was an honor to once again be part of the team directing the Marchers.
Many more Downstate Knights and Joliet Chapter Knights of Columbus came out to join us.
The Grand Knight of St. Raphael’s; who is a member of our Joliet Chapter Life Team, also joined us.
We also had a Joliet Chapter District Deputy; Norm Bishop, marching with us.
